This page describes what this website actually does today, not what it may do in a later phase.
On this site
What is collected now
The public pages of this site are informational. The pitch form and the credential lookup are not connected to a backend: what you type into them is not transmitted to us, and it is not stored.
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies on this site, and we do not operate a newsletter or account system here.
Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to that service when a page loads.
By email and telephone
Correspondence you send us
When you write to editorial@filmandstage.press, pitches@filmandstage.press or verify@filmandstage.press, we receive your message and whatever you choose to include in it — typically your name, email address, pitch material and portfolio links.
We use that correspondence to answer you, to assess pitches, and to verify credentials. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
Verification enquiries are answered narrowly: we confirm affiliation and the existence of an assignment, and we do not disclose a contributor's personal details or unpublished editorial plans.
Your requests
Access, correction and deletion
To ask what correspondence we hold from you, to have it corrected, or to ask us to delete it, write to editorial@filmandstage.press. Where a legal obligation or an ongoing editorial matter requires us to retain material, we will say so.
Security
How we treat your material
We take reasonable care with correspondence sent to the editorial office. No website or email system can be guaranteed secure, and we make no absolute security promise. Please do not send confidential source material or documents by ordinary email without speaking to an editor first.
Changes
When this page will be revised
This page will be revised when the pitch form and credential register are connected, since both will begin storing data.
